Dylan Ray is celebrating a run-rule walk-off vs. Clarendon at Hodgetown.

Heyen and Ray lead AC to game four victory over El Paso, prevent series sweep

Randall High School product Dylan Ray had a career-best outing to end the Badgers' stay in the Sun City last weekend, and sophomore pitcher Eli Heyen notched a season-best strikeout total (10) as the duo led AC to a 13-3 game four victory vs. El Paso Community College.

Ray went 4-for-5 at the plate and was a triple away from the cycle while Heyen finished his six-inning stint on the hill with five times as many strikeouts as walks.
AC's game four win prevented an El Paso sweep.

The Tejanos secured a pair of comeback victories in games one and three, while run-ruling AC 13-2 in game two.

El Paso rallied from a 5-1 sixth-inning deficit in game one to win the series opener 7-6. In a near identical fashion, the Tejanos rallied from a 6-3 fifth-inning deficit in game three to claim the series victory with an 8-7 win on Saturday.

The 3-1 series loss on the road moved the Badgers' conference record to 15-17 with one Western Junior College Athletic Conference matchup remaining.
AC will head to Frank Phillips College in Borger on April 30 and May 1 for its regular-season finale.
