Nine baseball standouts garner annual award

The Amarillo College baseball team recognized its annual award winners, as voted on by the team, at the 2026 banquet.

AC’s Man of the Year is selected based on leadership, being a great teammate, and helping set a championship culture through his actions both on and off the field.

The following are this past spring’s award winners.

Jatniel McCloud – Most Valuable Player

Eli Heyen – Co-Man of the Year

Luis Gonzalez – Co-Man of the Year

David Thompson – Co-Man of the Year

Aiden White - Starting Pitcher of the Year

Brayden Gurney - Relief Pitcher of the Year

Brooks Carter - Co-Offensive MVP 

Rowin Donaldson - Co-Offensive MVP

Colton McClure - Defensive MVP
