Head baseball coach Brandon Rains recognized for milestone achievement

Leading Brookhaven to a pair of World Series appearances and developing over 50 all-conference athletes in Dallas during a decade span are just a few accomplishments Amarillo College head coach Brandon Rains had on his resume when arriving in Amarillo.

The Badgers’ head man accomplished yet another extraordinary feat this past spring in his fourth season at AC.

Rains achieved his 400th win as a head baseball coach during the team’s first-ever win over traditional WJCAC powerhouse New Mexico Junior College.

The West Texas A&M University alum was recognized for the achievement during the athletic department’s annual banquet late last month.
