Badger XC heads to Hobbs for regional primer

AC’s final preparation for the postseason awaits this Friday in Hobbs, New Mexico.

The Badger cross country teams will run in their fifth meet of the season and final race before regionals at Harry McAdams Park on Oct. 10.

The Thunderbird Open represents a regional preview as three of the top junior college programs in Region V –New Mexico JC, Odessa, El Paso - will compete at the event.

The AC women’s team is coming off a championship performance at the Cameron Invite II two weeks ago in Lawton, Oklahoma. The group is currently ranked 16th in the latest NJCAA DI Women’s Cross Country National Coaches’ Poll.

The Badger men are currently ranked 19th and were third-place finishers two weeks ago in The Sooner State. Lane Kenney and Adrian Rosales placed first and second respectively at the Cameron Invite II.
