On deck: Badger volleyball plays host to NMMI this Saturday
Two home games remain on the regular season slate for the Badger volleyball team.
Amarillo College welcomes 14th-ranked New Mexico Military Institute to town for its second-to-last home game of 2025. The match is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. at the FirstBank Southwest Center.
AC’s Sophomore Day will follow on Wednesday, Oct. 28, vs. Frank Phillips College, starting at 6 p.m.
The Badger volleyball team enters the final three games of the regular season with a possibility of advancing to the Region V tournament for the first time in team history.
AC and Midland College are currently tied for the fourth and final playoff spot in the Western Junior College Athletic Conference.
During the Badgers and Broncos' first matchup of the season on Oct. 1, NMMI defeated AC in four sets.
But, Scott Sandel’s squad claimed their first set win in Roswell since the reboot of athletics at AC in 2022.
The Broncos enter the match in the third place in the WJCAC via an 8-3 conference record.
