Volleyball hosts Pink Out on Oct. 8

The Amarillo College volleyball team’s annual Pink Out match is set for Wednesday, Oct. 8 against Western Texas College.

First serve at the FirstBank Southwest Center is scheduled for 6 p.m.

A limited number of pink AC volleyball T-Shirts will be given out for free before the match. AC faculty, staff, and students can attend the game for free with an AC ID.

AC enters the match tied for fourth place in the WJCAC standings with a 3-3 conference mark following a victory on the road against 15th ranked Frank Phillips College on Oct. 4.

The Westerners sport an 0-6 conference mark after a five-set defeat at Clarendon College last Saturday.

The Badgers went 0-2 against Western Texas a season ago and had a 1-2 record in three matchups against the Westerners in 2023.

Wednesday’s match will be streamed online by the Texas Panhandle Sports Network.
