Four Badgers place in top 15 at Thunderbird Open

Six Badgers clocked season-best 8K times, and three runners on the women's team placed in the top 20 on Oct. 10 at the Thunderbird Invite in Hobbs, New Mexico.
Lane Kenney tied his second-fastest career time (24 minutes 55 seconds) and shaved 27 seconds off his previous season-best mark. The Tascosa High School product had the highest finish of all AC runners, finishing in eighth place in a field of 57.
Freshman Adrian Rosales added a season-best time (25 minutes 24 seconds) and placed 11th.
Mallory Moore (14th place), Ellianna Rohm (15th place), and Mia Lujan (16th place) crossed the finish line within five seconds to lead the Lady Badgers to a fourth-place finish as a team.
In a field of 47 runners, Lylianah Flores placed 25th and Mia Regalado took 29th, rounding out the Lady Badger scoring.
On the men's team, Jackson Knapp (27:29), Dayson Smith (27:32), Noah Williams (27:56), and Chris Thomas (28:24) clocked personal-record times.
The AC men placed fifth as a team.
